The union will be accepting nominations for the position starting September 4, 2021 at the beginning of the Permanent Session of the Convention.

The Term of Office: 1 year upon election at the annual referendum

The Main Responsibilities:

- Working under the direction of the Communications Department Board, and in collaboration with the Publications Committee Chair, and General Executive Board, the Editor is responsible for:
- Ensuring that the union’s main Spanish-language publication is published and distributed on a regular schedule
- Soliciting, filtering, editing, and curating articles, photographs, and written material from union members and supporters
- Collaborating with the Web Director, Social Media, and Design team to ensure material is published online in an effective way
Supervision Received:
- Supervised by the Communications Department Board, Publications Committee Chair
Supervision Exercised:
- Supervising any volunteers your bring on board to facilitate your efforts
Nomination Period Opens:
- Start of the Permanent Session of the General Convention (Approximately: September 4, 2021 @ 10AM CST)
Nomination Period Closes:
- End of the General Convention (Approximately September 6, 2021 @ 5pm CST)
